Founder - The Mind Canvas
Anvi Kumar, a 12th grader from The Shri Ram School, Aravali, residing in Gurgaon, a suburb of the National Capital Region in India. Her maturity and grasp of human behavior have evolved her into a considerate and observant human being. Through art, storytelling and several social initiatives, Anvi has been decoding the sociological and psychological issues of Indian teenagers and working towards the betterment of the society.
Lauded with a fully-funded scholarship from the New York School of Visual Arts, Anvi explored her passion for storytelling on pertinent topics via doodles and comics. Her venture, The Mind Canvas, supports various foundations and has been productized into exciting everyday-use items. A National Winner of the Harmony Art Contest, she is also passionate about street art and debating. A spirited human, Anvi aimsto build her own army of teens working towards collective mental wellness!
The Diana Award Recipient
Anvi received the prestigious Diana Award for her contributions towards the Mental Health sector. She led an eye-opening drive which identified gaps in the GST levied on Mental Health services without appropriate categorization. The Diana Award, established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, celebrates young changemakers who have gone above and beyond to create and sustain positive change worldwide. Adding a personal touch to the honour, Anvi also received a letter of congratulations from Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, expressing pride in the awardees’ resilience and dedication to changing the world for the better.

As our close-knit family structures influence us greatly to share our experiences openly, my research focuses on assessing the attitude, perception and intended behaviours towards mental illness. This covers 5 different generations ranging from Boomers I, Boomers II, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z, aged between 11 to 77 years olds. It is now published in the International Journal of Indian Psychology.
MIT LaunchX Entrepreneur
Got accepted into LaunchX which is the top high school entrepreneurship summer program, across the world to build companies. Throughout the duration of the program her teammates and she build “Elliptics” a service based platform that helps connect high schoolers to their desired internships through a set of personalized interviews recommending students to a well fit internship after learning their strengths, weaknesses and fields of interest.

To delve deeper into the subject and aid her community better, she solidified her foregrounding while interning with BrainSight AI, a dynamic company at the forefront of AI-enabled applications for mental-health professionals. BrainSight AI’s mission is to provide evidence-based treatment tools and empathetic digital support for patients while enhancing precision in diagnosis and prognosis for neurological and psychiatric disorders via AI technologies. Her primary areas of focus were psychology, research, marketing, and consumer behavior analysis.
